We are knowledgeable We are one of the most experienced manufacturers in New Zealand; we have combined over 100 years experience and we have handled every aspect of manufacture design and construction. In effect, with our guidance, you can design your own furniture and we will make it exactly. We manufacture from predominantly local and imported components. We do this in our own production facility in Auckland. Our manufacturing resources include our own onsite polish shop.

Founder and CEO Doug Surman is committed to improving the quality of life for all New Zealanders on a local level by participating in community projects and partnering with the Piha surf life saving club.
Nortek celebrates 10 years of success, growth and partnership within the community. For well over two decades Doug Surman has contributed both financially and through volunteering his weekends as a surf lifesaver; so far that’s 25 summers patrolling Piha beach keeping our kiwi families safe. Doug is the Piha vice president responsible for the strategic interest of the club with the view to the club becoming a professional organisation.
